Para-surgical therapies include all those techniques that can be done without any invasion and can achieve benefits equivalent to surgical procedures.

The following procedures are included under Para-surgical procedure in Ayurveda:

1. Kshar Karma - Kshar (alkali) are used in this procedure.
2. Agni Karma - Heat is used in this procedure.
3. Jalaukavacharana - Leech Therapy
4. Alabu Chikitsa - cupping therapy
5. Viddha Karma - needling
