Developmental Delay
Minor and temporary delays are not usually a cause for concern, but persistent delays or multiple delays in reaching milestones can be a sign that challenges may arise later in life. A delay in reaching milestones in language, thinking, social, or motor skills is called developmental delay. Developmental delay can be caused by a variety of factors, including heredity, complications during pregnancy, and preterm birth. The cause is not always known.
Low Immunity
A weakened immune system leads to poor nutritional status in children. Visible signs of nutritional deficiencies, such as skin and hair changes, brittle nails, easy bruising, and short attention spans, are telltale signs of a compromised immune system.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy is an intervention service that focuses on improving a child's speech and ability to understand and express language, including non-verbal language. Speech therapists, or speech therapists, are the professionals who provide these services.
