Respiratory Disorders

Asthma

Asthma is a disease that affects the lungs. Your airways become narrow swollen and blocked with excess mucus. It is a chronic condition, which means it does not go away and requires ongoing medical care. Dr. Batra's Ayurveda provides the best asthma treatment.

COPD

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, commonly known as COPD, is a group of progressive lung diseases. The most common of these diseases are emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Many people with COPD have both symptoms. Emphysema slowly destroys the air sacs in the lungs, blocking the flow of outside air. Bronchitis causes inflammation and narrowing of the bronchi, which can lead to mucus buildup.

Pneumonia

Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs of one or both lungs. The alveoli can fill with fluid or pus (purulent matter), which can lead to coughing up phlegm or pus, fever, chills, and shortness of breath. A variety of organisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, can cause pneumonia. Dr. Batra's Ayurveda offers the best treatment for pneumonia.

Chronic Lung Disease

Chronic lung disease can be caused by smoking tobacco or inhaling second-hand smoke, chemical fumes, dust, or other forms of air pollution. Types of chronic lung disease include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, asbestosis, pneumonitis, and other lung diseases.

Sinusitis

Chronic sinusitis can be caused by an infection, the growth of sinus polyps, or inflammation of the sinus lining. Signs and symptoms may include nasal congestion or congestion that causes difficulty breathing through the nose, and pain and swelling around the eyes, cheeks, nose, or forehead.
