Gastric Disorders

Gastric Ulcer

Gastric Ulcers are usually caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria or by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These can weaken the stomach's defenses against the acid it produces to digest food. Then the stomach lining is damaged and an ulcer forms.

Acidity

Acidity is a condition characterized by heartburn felt in the lower chest. This is a common condition that occurs when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus. The most common symptom of acid reflux is a burning sensation or pain in the chest.

Constipation

Constipation most often occurs when waste or stool moves too slowly through the digestive tract or cannot be removed effectively from the rectum, which can cause the stool to become hard and dry. Chronic constipation has many possible causes.
